With over 20 years in the entertainment industry, Mathew Maltby began his journey on set as a regular supporting artist in the much-loved soap EastEnders. His passion for the industry deepened as he watched his four children follow in his footsteps, appearing on TV sets across various productions.
While Mathew loved his time in front of the camera, he soon discovered his true calling lay in business and entrepreneurship. With several highly successful ventures to his name, it was a natural progression for him to combine his business acumen with his industry experience to co-found UK Talent Agents, alongside Adam, whose extensive and current knowledge of talent management perfectly complements Mathew’s vision.
Behind the scenes, Mathew has been instrumental in developing what UK Talent Agents Ltd believes to be the most innovative and artist-focused talent management system in the UK — if not the world. This groundbreaking platform not only creates incredible opportunities for artists but also offers them direct, personal access to a system that no other agency provides, fostering transparency, communication, and support.
Mathew is IMDb credited, and continues to drive UKTA forward with the same passion, innovation, and dedication that have defined his career.

Melanie Maltby – Co-Founder, UKTA and Talent Manager
Melanie Maltby has enjoyed a diverse career in the industry, with appearances on EastEnders and commercial campaigns for leading brands such as Sky TV, while working alongside some of the UK’s top talent agencies.
Like her husband Mathew, Melanie eventually chose to step back from her own performing career to focus on nurturing the talents of their four children. As a chaperone, she spent countless hours on sets and in theatres, gaining first-hand experience of the industry while witnessing some truly extraordinary performances in acting, dance, musical theatre, and song.
With her wealth of experience and personal connections within the industry, Melanie has developed an outstanding reputation for matching the right artist with the right casting director. She dedicates herself tirelessly to scouting new opportunities and ensuring that UKTA clients — from fresh faces to seasoned professionals — are placed where they can truly shine.
For Melanie, every artist deserves a chance, and she believes passionately in opening doors for new talent. After all, no one knows where the next big star will come from.

Welcome to the UKTA Family
At UK Talent Agents Ltd, we pride ourselves on representing some of the very best talent in the industry. Our experienced team of agents work tirelessly to support our clients — but we like to do things a little differently.
We represent a diverse roster of dancers, actors, musicians, models, and voiceover artists, and we’re always excited to welcome new talent. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting out, our mission is to help you achieve your goals in an environment that feels more like family than business. In fact, we like to begin every journey the way we aim to continue — with a warm sit-down meal, getting to know each other in a relaxed, friendly setting where you feel comfortable from the very first moment.
At UKTA, we believe in working together — supporting one another and celebrating every success along the way.
And one of the questions we’re asked most often is: “What do you charge to join your agency?” The answer is simple: Nothing. No respected talent agency should ever charge a joining fee. We only succeed when you succeed, and until that happens, you won’t pay us a single penny.
So, come and join the UKTA family. What are you waiting for? Together, we’ll build a future to be proud of.
Representation & Personal Management
At UK Talent Agents, we are proud to represent some of the most accomplished and versatile individuals in the entertainment industry. We understand that in such a fast-paced industry, the demands on an artist can often become overwhelming. To support our clients further, we offer an exclusive Personal Management Service. This premium service goes beyond the scope of traditional agency representation, providing tailored support to help our artists stay at the very top of their game.
Offered at a set, affordable monthly fee and limited strictly to 10 clients at any one time, this ensures each artist receives the highest level of care, attention, and dedicated management. There are no contracts, just a commitment to helping our clients focus on what they do best while we handle the details that can’t always fit into their schedule.
